When we came to the United States in early 2023, we faced an unexpected problem: the inability to find dairy products of a good quaity. This was a real challenge for our Ossetian family, as cheese, sour cream and cottage cheese have always played an important role in our diet. In addition, no store cheese could compare with Ossetian one – an indispensable ingredient of the favorite pies.

My wife couldn’t find a suitable replacement, so we decided to take matters into our own hands. We found a farm where we could buy raw milk, and my wife started making cheese. The result exceeded all our expectations – the cheese turned out to be delicious. My wife did a little more cheese than she needed, and offered it to her friends, and their positive feedback inspired us. Why not meet the demand for quality dairy products not only for us, but also for others?

We started with a small batch of products, including cheese, sour cream anв cottage cheese and, to our surprise, everything was sold out instantly. This was the starting point for the expansion of our business. Now we sell about 120 pound cheese, 30 gallons of sour cream and 30 pounds of butter a week. This is a significant amount for a small family production, where everything is done by hand.

 My wife is a product maker, and I am a marketing salesman. We serve the East Coast, Atlanta and Texas with my personal delivery – the products are packed in refrigerators and delivered to customers within 24 hours after manufacture, according to all transportation and storage requirements. Our history is proof that passion for quality and devotion to tradition can lead to success, even in a new country and among new conditions.
