Ingredients: flour, water, egg, cottage cheese, sugar, salt.

How to cook Vareniki:
1. Pour 1 gallon of water per pound of Vareniki into the pan.
2. Add a little salt and bring it to a boil.
3. Put Vareniki in a pan one by one stirring with the back side of the spoon or a skimmer until the second boil.
4. After boiling again, turn the heat down to a minimum and cook for 3-5 minutes.
5. Remove Vareniki  from the pan gently, butter them or add some sour cream and enjoy.

    Cottage cheese tastes homemade! Not sour, not bland – just right. Dough is thin but strong. I serve with honey – family delighted.
