Ossetian cherry pie
$40.00 — available on subscription
This dessert version of the famous Ossetian pie combines thin yeast dough with juicy sweet-and-sour filling made from ripe cherries. Traditionally, the pie is baked very thin so that the filling shows through the dough. It’s served as a dessert with tea or as a standalone treat. In Ossetia, such sweet pies are often made during the summer season when cherries are especially fragrant and juicy.
Size: diameter 14”

Dream dessert! Cherry is moderately sour, dough is sweetish. Perfect with coffee or tea. Served at birthday – everyone asked for seconds.

I buy for my wife on anniversary every year. She adores cherry desserts. No pits, which is very convenient. Romantic and delicious.

Good pie, but would like more cherry. Dough is excellent, but not enough filling. Otherwise no complaints, delivered quickly.

Unusual dessert! We don’t make such ones. Cherry is juicy, juice doesn’t leak when cutting. Guests were surprised and asked for recipe.

Ordered for tea time with girlfriends. Everyone was delighted! Light, not cloying, with tartness. Beautiful packaging, looks presentable.
